For more information about our company, visit us at . Currently, we are seeking an Engineer III-Electrical for our Chester, PA facility.
Summary:
The ideal candidate is capable of identifying complex technical issues at their root cause and having the technical curiosity to generating creative and applicable solutions. Candidate will take a lead role as the EE Asset Engineer for a specific production line and be responsible for daily machine monitoring and troubleshooting, as well as development and implementation of improvements to existing product machinery. Provides guidance in the design, development, optimization, and operation of manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner. Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes, policies and guidelines. Provide for the safety and well¬ being of operators, maintenance and other personnel.
- Develop knowledge and skills to be recognized for expertise and guidance in application of engineering principles and/or scientific analysis. Assist in the development of others in your area of technical expertise
- Initiate, design and develop, and optimize manufacturing and supporting processes
- Technical guidance on resolution of process and equipment problems
- Implement projects and programs to meet team objectives while effectively using resources
- Identify complex technical issues at their root cause and have the technical curiosity and skill to generating creative and applicable solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 6 years experience in manufacturing, power generation or project engineering.
- Demonstrated leadership in achieving results.
- Experience with MS Office applications, including MS Project.
- High Level of Initiative and a Global business perspective
- Ability to provide innovative contributions in a TEAM Environment
- Effective communication skills with the ability to discuss technical issues in a business environment.
- The ability to adapt to rapidly changing business priorities and assignments.
- Customer Focus when dealing with internal and external customers
Preferred Qualifications: - 8-12 years engineering experience
- Tissue and /or paper manufacturing experience
- Ability to work independently as well as with diverse teams, and complete projects within required timeframes.
- Project Management experience including project focus of including re-engineering, design flaw detection and/or major overhauls/capital expenditures.
